Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 6, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Approach website and your purchase of digital field guides from Tasklist LLC ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Approach. By using this site or buying a guide, you agree to these terms.
Who you are contracting with
The seller is Tasklist LLC, trading as Approach. When you buy a guide, your contract is with Tasklist LLC. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Acceptance of these terms
By continuing to use this website, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions and that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding agreement.
The product
We sell downloadable digital e-books (PDF field guides) about social confidence, conversation, and meeting people in everyday settings. Each guide is delivered digitally after purchase and is also available in your account library.
Payments, billing, and refunds
All payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own Refund Policy describes the 14-day money-back guarantee we offer on top of those mechanics.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse this website or our guides. You must not:
- Use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or spam-related.
- Infringe intellectual property rights — ours or anyone else's.
- Interfere with the site's security, including introducing malware, probing vulnerabilities, or scraping content at scale.
- Redistribute, resell, or publicly share the guides or your download links.
Intellectual property and your licence
We retain all ownership of the website, the guides, and all related intellectual property, including text, design, and branding. When you buy a guide, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use it for your own personal purposes. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or reverse engineer any part of it.
Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Service availability and warranties
We work to keep the site and your library available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and the guides are provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury, where the law does not allow it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate these policies. If your access ends, your licence to the guides ends with it, and downloads may be revoked.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Tasklist LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.
